The Alcalde Hotel has been an iconic building in Gonzales since it was first built in 1926. Originally designed to be a 5 story building, the original owners decided to stop at three stories. We have 18 guest rooms and we are family owned and operated. Our desire is to make you feel like part of the family. We have hosted guests in the past such as Bonnie and Clyde. Even Elvis visited us and took a nap in one of our rooms. Don't miss the chance to see this incredible hotel and interesting town.
